Mission Statement
To provide engineering and surveying services for the City of Lockport in a cost-effective and professional manner.

Department Objectives

• The development and implementation of plans pertaining to the construction and maintenance of the City's infrastructure. To provide support, data and services to other City departments and Common Council. To provide a liaison between NSDOT, DEC, Utility Company's Contractors and the City.To supply information and advise to architects, engineers and developers relating to proposed projects in the City.
• To give plumbers, contractors, and property owners information regarding utilities, property lines, drainage and other engineering data.
