The Lockport Cave offers a fun, historical guided tour through America’s past, viewing the Erie Canal Locks, walking safely through a 1600-foot waterpower tunnel that was blasted out of solid rock in the 1800’s, viewing geologic cave formations and riding in an underground boat for a trip of wonders.Tours start at the ticket office at 2 Pine Street, near Main Street in downtown Lockport. Cave tours are conducted on the hour, 7 days per week from 11:00am - 5:00pm. There is a 10:00am tour on Saturdays and holidays.

The Historic Palace Theatre in Lockport, NY, is a 1200-seat, proscenium-arch-style space built in 1925. The decor is a mix of art deco and classical styles and is a replica of New York City’s Paramount Theatre which was torn down in the ’70s. Built in 1925 by Charles Dickenson, The Palace was on the cutting edge of technology. Besides being technologically advanced with air conditioning, pipe organ, and an orchestra pit, it was also exquisitely decorated. The murals on the ceiling, still exist today.

Available to visitors and local residents looking to explore area sites, the trolley will shuttle people around the city and between Lockport's major attractions. With nine stops along the route, riders can see everything Lockport has to offer while listening to a narrated tour. They can also board or disembark the trolley at any site of their choosing along the way.

The Transit Drive-In Theatre

Toenniessen Falls
Location: East central Niagara County, northeast of the City of Lockport. The Falls is 6 feet high, 20 feet wide and faces to the northwest. The purpleish-red bedrock of the creek is a sedimentary rock known as Medina Sandstone. It dates from the Silurian Period and is about 18 feet thick.
